Pha That Luang
This golden stupa is often cited as the most important national landmark in Laos. And it even appears on one of the kip notes (kip is Laotian currency).

The surroundings
There are a few other temples around Pha That Luang. The first building that caught my attention while walking towards Pha That Luang across the That Luang square was this. Taking a walk in this temple showed the life of the Buddha through paintings.
